FUTURE MENTORS & MENTEES
Become a mentor!
Mentors are matched with high school student mentees based on the same interests, language, and based on teachers recommendations. The mentors are expected to meet with their matched mentee at least once a month virtually to provide students advice, encouragement, how to improve their English, available resources, extracurricular activities, future college applications and a huge focus on what the student is particularly struggling with. Mentors could also come and meet the students at school depending on the participants’ availability.

Mentees will be expected to meet every month with their mentor virtually through zoom meetings. Mentees are encouraged to discuss topics they are interested in or struggling with with their mentors. communicate with their mentor in a timely manner, show up to the consistent monthly meetings and ask questions, or concerns.
